I hear my phone’s ringtone, Ed Sheeran’s voice coming from my black iPhone. I sigh, checking the caller ID to see it’s Anna. “Yello?” I say, smirking.
“Hey there. I’m going to that Nando’s in Orillia with Paige, Sid, Engla and a few... friends. Wanna come with?” She says, and I hear shouts in the background.

CHAPTER 6 – Make Up, Make Out

I groan in frustration, Paige, Engla and Sidney were in Zayn’s room with the boys, except for Niall. I lightly take Paige’s hat off my head, setting it on my bedside table. I quickly grab some sweatpants and a grey hoodie from my drawer, changing and pulling on some running shoes. I throw the door open, stepping out into the hallway. I close the door and half run, half power walk to the elevator.

“Jessie?” Her soft voice calls out, and I just want to reach out and hold her in my arms, let her know it is all going to be okay. But I can’t. Not now, at least.
She walks out, and I manage to croak her name. “Alanna... I love you...” I close my eyes, which were changing color to a soft blue. Everything is dark. Everything fades.

I wake up, blinking rapidly as I face the sudden light entering the window. I frown, reaching up to rub my eyes, and my arms brush someone else’s. I look at the strong arms wrapped around me to see Niall was holding me, his face burrowed into my neck. I smile at his protective grip, though I sigh, realizing I would probably have to wake him.
Not wanting to disturb Niall, I lay still for a little while. I close my eyes, snuggling a bit more into Niall’s warmth. I smile to myself pleasantly.
